I can confirm this bug. However i cannot reply the question if this is reproducible in other machines/configurations. I havent tried with another mouse. For a microsoft 1.1A USB, PS/2 compatible mouse. This bug appears after i install Ubuntu and perhaps some applications. I ve had this problem since Hardy and now in Jaunty Ubuntu.
