Binary package hint: gnome-media

After removing pulseaudio I've lost sound control. There is no sound
applet, mixer or sound hotkey handler.

This is a serious blow in modularity, usability and freedom of choice
when usability of a system depends on unnecessary package providing
bells and whistles.

There are reasons for pulseaudio removal:
Low cpu resources that should not be uselessly wasted (netbooks and old 
computers)  
Pulseaudio, as an additional component, adds noticeable latency.
Current alsa can handle multiple sound sources without wasting cpu, without 
latency and without tweaking. That is the essence of a sound system. anything 
else should be optional.
Removing pulseaudio is also known as a solution to many sound problems:
