Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gdm

When I try to change gdm settings, I click on the "unlock" button in
gdmsetup's window. It asks me for a password, then re-displays the
dialog without the password entry field. After that, regardless of which
button I click, it doesn't unlock, and I can change gdm settings.
