Binary package hint: apt-file

According to the documentation (man page):

--fixed-string | -F                                                             
                                                                   
              Do not expand search pattern with generic characters at pattern’s 
start and end.

This is not the case however:

$ apt-file -Fl list most
foremost
most

The following reported bug (circa 2006) touches on this but assumes the
documentation is wrong:
