Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kpackagekit
Tried to install kcheckgmail. Selected kcheckgmail to install, clicked apply, got to a dialog to confirm installation of dependencies, clicked "ok", got error message: You do not have the necessary privileges to perform this action. I'm running the kubuntu netbook beta. Package installs just fine from konsole using aptitude.
