a temporary solution which have worked for me its too add x-swat ppa and update the system installing the new 2.9 intel driver :
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade && reboot Worked fine for me.... im not sure its the best to do because ppa are no supported by x-ubuntu team....if developpers thinks, its not the good way you can remove my comment.
