Public bug reported: In /usr/share/mime/packages/kde.xml, the Microsoft Word *.doc format is listed as "plain text", apparently for purposes of disambiguation.
This is not only inaccurate, but breaks common sense reasonable doctype handling in file managers, making it impossible to have sane "open with" configurations for both *.docs and for plain text files.
