Just to confirm, I have the same problem. (After adding usb-id) The driver loads and detects the stick, but no matter what I do, "iwlist" gives "No scan results". After configuring RT2870STA.dat, my SSID changes accordingly in "iwconfig" but I cannot connect to it.
