I don't think this bug can be closed. maybe i missed a fix for the problem, but i think Pedro closed this bug as a result of a misunderstanding: yes eog doesn't crash when there are no changes in the directory any more, but i think eog misbehaves when it segfaults while there are changes in the directory where the file to open comes from. as this is a reproducible behaviour and this problem hits the current stable ubuntu, it should be taken care of.
