I believe this is only partially fixed. I'm able to install, but during the actual installation of Karmic (when the window title is "Installing system" and files are actually copied/configured), the bottom of the window is not visible. For instance, is there a Cancel button there if I need to quit for some reason? It's perhaps minor because at the point one is installing Ubuntu, they've probably not going to change their mind just then, but from a UI point of view, it's disconcerting not to be able to see/interact with the entire window.
So, to be clear, I believe this bug is still open as of Tue, 06 Oct 2009, with the Karmic beta. My current screen resolution is 800x600: see attachment for visual. ** Attachment added: "Bottom of ubiquity installer window not visible" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/33101661/no_visible_window_bottom.png -- Ubiquity dialogues too large for 800x600 display https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/38442 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
