I have installed Ubuntu Karmic beta from Live (desktop) CD. I have chosen "Russia" as the country and "Russian" as keyboard layout.
Installation process was completed successfully. After reboot I was not able to switch to russian keyboard layout. I have added Gnome keyboard applet and I have noticed that there is only one keyboard layout - "USA". When I have added "Russian" manually, the switching from "USA" to "Rus" works well.
