Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: inkscape

When using Nautilus, double clicking on an .svg file should result in
Inkscape running and opening that file. At the moment it opens in GEdit.
This is clearly wrong.

Worse, Inkscape isn't even in the "Open With..." list provided by right
clicking!

This works fine on Gentoo Linux, so it's a recent MIME types &
associations bug in Karmic or the 0.47 packages, it would seem.
