@rudolf,nicholas: try this: xrandr --output LVDS1 --auto xrandr --output LVDS1 --right-of DVI1 The output connector names you can get by issuing "xrandr" without parameters. @mark: if you reable XRandR 1.2 support again, you could try the same.
