The problem was trying to mount my mobile broadband modem as the cd, like it should. It is the Alltel UM175 made by pantech. Even with that error, I can still run USB-Modeswitch and it will go into modem mode, but, If i have to unplug the modem, I have to restart the computer before it will even attempt to recognize it again.
