I get the same error message during boot-up, however I don't get any
page table errors, simply the rendering error:
render error detected, EIR: 0x00000010
[drm:i915_handle_error] *ERROR* EIR stuck: 0x00000010, masking
render error detected, EIR: 0x00000010
Then I see a few of the standard boot messages such as "loading AppArmor
profiles" and I am eventually shown the new boot splash-screen.
