Thanks for reporting this bug, however with crash bugs we need either a full backtrace or exact steps to reproduce (as opposed to 'random'). Because of this, this bug cannot be troubleshot (troubleshooted?) so unfortunately it'll have to be closed.
If it continues to occur, I would refer you to http://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Backtracing for directions on how to collect backtraces.
