So there's been a lot that has changed over the last few days that may or may not affect people's behavior with audio on the live disks. It's becoming hard to determine what factors might be affecting different people, so I'm going to mark this bug as closed.
If you are still having issues, please perform a /fresh install/ using a /daily/ live disk from 2009-10-09 or later. Daily live disks can be found at http://cdimages.ubuntu.com/mythbuntu Please be sure to post what live disk you used in the new bug if you still have issues.
