Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firestarter

firestarter automatically edits /etc/dhcp3/dhcpd.conf when dhcp is
enabled. i spent 3 hours trying to figure out why dhcpd still would
start trying loads of different configs.

problem is - it turned out - that the conf file used by dhcpd is
/etc/dhcpd.conf

VERY annoying. after a simple copy operation everything worked.

why does dhcp not use the logical location /etc/dhcp3/dhcpd.conf ???

also. the /etc/dhcpd.conf file states that its a sample file...in order
words i did not expect it to be the real deal...maybe it should say
"edit me" instead..

thanks
