Public bug reported: Binary package hint: indicator-session
indicator-session-0.1.7 in Ubuntu Karmic depends on libempathy. However, I removed Empathy and installed Pidgin instead. So indicator-session had been removed and there was an error message about the missing applet after restarting gnome-panel. I think we should be able to switch users, reboot or hibernate using this applet without needing to use Empathy. So indicator-session should be changed to be usable w/o libempathy and recommend it, instead of depending on it.
