I did the test with this site: www.tt.com When first I marked only a part of the site, OOo Writer crashed. It needs to load all the links and comments, and if you move the scrollbar while loading, writer crashes.
After I did the marking with Ctrl + A, then copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V), and nothing crashed. I had to remove all comments and OOoWriter doesn't load the css-sheet to formate the text so that you have difficulties to find all the paragraphs you copied.
