Hi Bruce, I'm the original filer of this bug report and also the writer of that little bit of code that bash is running (perhaps not coincidentally). It's part of a superkaramba theme I made a while back, so you might check to see if that's running. Also, if the bash processes aren't being properly cleaned up by superkaramba, you might consider filing a bug report against it.
