Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
By default, in Gnome the trash is in ~/.Trash and in KDE it is in ~/.local/share/Trash and the have different structures: Gnome just moves the files and KDE keeps also info of the files. I don't know if this is a directive of Freedesktop.org, but it would be useful that all the desktops shared the same trash. The bug #75435 talks about the problem with Digikam, but it always happens deleting anything from a Gnome application in KDE or vice versa, so it is a more general problem. At the moment, it seems that making a symbolic link can solve the problem, but that's not a good solution, because the info files generated by KDE are not removed if we empty the trash from Gnome. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- The trash of Gnome and KDE should be the same https://launchpad.net/bugs/85327 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
