Thanks for all these, but the solution was found from "christoph-plattner" posted on 2009-02-18. The page I found it is: "https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+question/61514"; and go at the end to find the big man who found the solution. The mute led still is not working, but who cares for that. Waiting the new release 9.10 to see if they have fix that bug. Anyway thanks again.
