Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.5
Hello, After upgrading to Karmic, when I login I see a lot of error messages about panel applets not being loaded (see bug #450763). If I *don't* close those windows, and start firefox from the icon I have on the panel, X freezes - the mouse moves, but pressing it is ignored. Pressing "caps lock" changes the state of the LED, but keyboard presses are ignored. I can press ctrl+alt+F1 and kill X manually. If I first close the message windows, it works fine. If I start another application, it works fine (I started a terminal from another button, and it was ok.) I have an IBM X40 laptop.
