Public bug reported: I have a notebook in a docking station with an external monitor attached via DVI which I use exclusively. Whenever I start totem, the desktop layout changes such that the desktop is expanded to the laptop monitor which is quite annoying since most of the time the gnome-panel disappears to the other monitor.
It would be nice if my desktop settings would be kept how they are.
