Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: indicator-applet-session

If empathy is not started, indicator-applet-session will not allow me to
change my online status by greying out the menu.

Instead, it should automatically launch empathy if I choose to become
online.

Current situation is a big usability bug because :

- Most users will not understand that they have to start empathy first.
- We etablish an artificial difference for two situations that are similar for
the end-user : having empathy launched but hidden and not having empathy
launched. From an user perspective, there's no way to distinguish between those
situatitons. And it should not be the case.

Note that indicator-applet already behaves correctly.
