Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mplayer
When, using Epiphony or Firefox, I visit the site sr.se and press the 'lyssna till webbradio' (=listen to web radio) link a new window opens and the mplayer seems to just sit there. As far as I can see it is caching the stream data, but this takes a very long time about 30 s. When it then starts it is at very low volume, and I have to move the slider from almost 0. If I right click, and try to adjust any of the preferences it crashes. You probably already have this, but in case: fr...@frank-ubuntu:~$ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu karmic (development branch) Release: 9.10 fr...@frank-ubuntu:~$ apt-cache policy mplayer mplayer: Installed: 2:1.0~rc3+svn20090426-1ubuntu9 Candidate: 2:1.0~rc3+svn20090426-1ubuntu10 Version table: 2:1.0~rc3+svn20090426-1ubuntu10 0 500 http://se.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/multiverse Packages *** 2:1.0~rc3+svn20090426-1ubuntu9 0 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 Date: Fri Oct 16 08:17:36 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/mplayer NonfreeKernelModules: fglrx Package: mplayer-nogui 2:1.0~rc3+svn20090426-1ubuntu9 ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_GB.UTF-8 LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-14.47-generic RelatedPackageVersions: libavcodec52 4:0.5+svn20090706-2ubuntu2 libavcodec-extra-52 N/A SourcePackage: mplayer Uname: Linux 2.6.31-14-generic x86_64 UserConf: # Write your default config options here!
