Having the same issue here, it's a bit of annoying since if you close
the application it's because you don't want to receive those messages ,
but the only way to workaround that is killing the daemon (probably not
the best), i don't care too much if the daemon is still running if i
close the app, just don't want to receive those messages if I've closed
gwibber.
