I have no idea on how to install the patch (i "see" what it does but don't know how to apply it). But if you explain me how, I may test it. Compiling is no problem, provided u xplain me what and how (and what tools I need to apt-get or wget). Otherwise I may just wait for the patch to become part of karmic. Thanks for all your help.
