Same issues with the latest amd64 version of 9.10 on Toshiba satelite
Pro P300-28L.

The connection drops out and it takes ages to reconnect

My router is just behind the door, but networkmanager thinks it has <25%
signal, while the router in the neighbours house shows 100% strength.
Could there be some mix up in the driver, and maybe it thinks there is
no signal when there is plenty? I had no issues on my macbook pro
(currently in service), or winXP on Toshiba (I need ubuntu for some
things)
