Viewsonic VA2216w monitor reports OUT OF RANGE when X starts during Live CD boot procedure or full install. This is a 22inch 1680*1...@60hz monitor common in retail outlets. Same bug was in 9.04 as well. The X display works with the Nvidia restricted drivers (GeForce 7050 PV / NVIDIA nForce 630a graphics chipset on motherboard) but it is far from easy for new users.
