I have the same problem using Firefox & Thunderbird (as a RSS reader). Reading messages in the Thunderbird's status bar, I noticed Firefox sends Thunderbid site's URLs without the prefix "http://";, therefore Thunderbird is not be able to manage it. Actually if I try to subscribe manually adding the prefix "http://"; to the same URL, Thunderbird works correctly. I hope this note could be useful to solve the problem. Antonio.
