Public bug reported:

since yesterday's attempted upgrade I am trapped in upgrade jungle. I
get this:

# apt-get upgrade
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: The package adobe-flashplugin needs to be reinstalled, but I can't find an
archive for it.

# apt-get remove adobe-flashplugin
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: The package adobe-flashplugin needs to be reinstalled, but I can't find an
archive for it.

synaptic simply shuts down after reporting an error. upgrade manager
attempts removal of the plugin but then also shuts down without success

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
