Public bug reported: I can't get onto the Internet with Ubuntu 9.0.4 on a Compaq Mini 110. I think it is something to do with the wl.ko file. I have made a new wl.ko file using Broadcom's hybrid driver but can't replacee the existing version because of permission problems. I also can't operate as root even having used sudo passwd as requested. I need to login at the lowest level shell. I don't know what that means. Can someone help please.
