Hi,

I ran your command. Note: the file to echo to did not exist before:

$ cat .pulse/client.conf
autospawn = no

There was no change. After logging out and in again, KDE asks the same
question the first time in the session, when the audio devices are
accessed. This can either be by clicking K-Menu -> System Settings ->
Multimedia, or by opening Amarok, which is still the only application
playing sound, except for the test sound in System Settings ->
Multimedia.
