I am able to select either of the tabs, however it makes no difference to the sound - i loose the mic and the audio playback, a reboot brings back the playback but either starts at mute or no sound. if it starts at mute the mic will usually initiate and the bars will move with a sound, however loose the mic and playback if I attempt to adjust the input tab from duplex
