Thanks for the clarification! I have a very powerful laptop as you can see by eg cpu specification Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T9400 @ 2.53GHz. But I have chosen to enable encryption in the Ubuntu installer. So this slows down probably the resume. It might be useful to check for this if users submit this bug report.
