I can confirm this problem in 9.04: Typing smb://servername in a nautilus windows location bar works. But bookmarking this and trying to open the bookmark gives the error "No application is registered....". Using "Connect to server" gives the same problem. After applying the fixes from the last post by Michael Gefen (adding nautilus as smb:// protocol handler) it works. This "should just work" - so can the gconf settings be included in a bugfix release? Or should this bug be reported some where else in the stack? regards, Sune Woeller -- smb:/// No application is registered as handling this file https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/296327 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
