Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: synaptic

When removing Dansguardian and tinyproxy from the SPM, I also attempted
to remove Dansguardian GUI but it came up with the error: "E:
dansguardian-gui: subprocess installed post-removal script returned
error exit status 1". It would not remove and also would now not install
any software package residing on the SPM because of this error message.
It will also not let me 'unmark' Dansguardian GUI. It remains marked for
removal but of course will not remove when prompted. I was attempting to
remove and reinstall Dansguardian, tinyproxy and Dansguardian GUI
because Dansguardian was not allowing benign websites to show such as
Hotmail.
