Sorry for being not communicative enough. So hopefully my answer is now
explaining my proposed patch.

I think that the man page from bash (especially invocation) has a good
explanation of the different modes. There is an distinction between an
interactive and a login or non-interactive shell. Both types seems to be
distinct, so calling the shell with "-i -l" makes no sense. When using
nautilus-open-terminal we want to interact with the shell - type
commands and receive the results. The interactive shell is started if it
was invoked with "-i" or if no parameter is provided. So maybe we should
drop the parameter completely.

To come back to the initial bug report: Only the interactive bash reads
the bashrc files.
