Public bug reported: 9.10 Beta HP DV6720ez Laptop
If a menu is open in any window / package the laptop quick launch buttons (volume up/down, next track etc) are deactivated. This is not restricted to any particular menu/package and the problem probably resides in either the package that controls the quick launch buttons or the package controlling general windows / menu behaviour but I'm not sure how to find these. To operate the quick launch bottons you first have to close any open menus. If this is not a bug it's a very annoying (non)feature.
