"dbus-send --print-reply --reply-timeout=100 --dest=org.gnome.ScreenSaver / org.gnome.ScreenSaver.Lock" does lock my screen, but clicking the Lock Screen option from the Applet dropdown still does absolutely nothing, and I don't use autologin.
