I tried daily build of AlternativeCD 27th of Oct. the same error came up and repeated for 5 seconds and then Xorg started with full acceleration, but didn't detect all my screen resolutions, only 800x...@60hz. I am using Hewlett Packard Monitor 20inch model : hp p 1230.
