Thom, AFAIK V4 firmware should work with with BCM4306 rev04 and rev05.
It would be great if it automatically uses V3 firmware for rev03 and
rev02 devices.

How's the cutter supossed to know if loading V4 firmware fails? It
doesn't hang the whole system?
