Sorry, more soon after notifying the bug I noticed that the blame for
blocking the sound card was the drive video sisimedia Mandriva 2009-1
wearing the jaunty fedora, and the karmic caused all these problems,
uninstall the driver and the sound returned normal, I went to use the drive
sis671 0.9 Site sis on linux.
