There isn't an AMD version of Ubuntu, if you are referring to 'amd64'
that is the name of the 64bit architecture that all modern x86 CPUs use.
Intel came up with ia64 for 64bit but it flopped and no one really uses
it anymore not even Intel, they switched over to using amd64 for most of
their processors about 4 years ago. Intel has used several alternate
names for it since they don't want to give credit to AMD for inventing
it though, eg EM64T, etc.
