This is happening for me every time I start Evolution. I seem to
remember it successfully starting up at least once after the upgrade to
Karmic, but now it crashes every time.

I'm running i686 Ubuntu 9.10.
I've installed the debug symbols, yet when gdb starts up, it keeps there are no
debug symbols. I've attached the gdb and valgrind output anyway. If anyone
can tell me why installing the debug symbols didn't work, I can re-do them.

Workaround: start up evolution in offline mode from a terminal.
'evolution --offline' Once it successfully starts, go to the File menu
and click on 'Work Online'.
