I'm having exactly the same problem. I built my laptop to the BETA alternate image and that worked perfectly until about a week or so ago when it stopped connecting. I guess something got changed that broke the wireless. If I plug the ethernet cable in, the wireless connects straight away, but if I take the ethernet out, the wireless stays connected but browsing is either VERY slow or times out.
