I think this happened with both 8.33.6 and 8.28.8. I can try downgrading to an older driver, but I'm not sure how that downgrade is supposed to work with the currently installed kernel. Or should I downgrade the kernel too to try older fglrx? Thanks!
Also, I found this URL to report problems to ATI about this driver, I guess I should try using it... http://support.ati.com/ics/survey/survey.asp?deptID=894&surveyID=508&type=web -- [apport] Xorg crashed with SIGSEGV while playing a movie in Totem https://launchpad.net/bugs/85943 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
