no, you are wrong. i used the standard open source driver in jaunty from
the repo, i also didnt compile anything. i didnt even install them
because it booted with that driver after i changed the graphics card
from a broken nvidia to ati in jaunty.

and beside this, the upgrade has to take care which kernel, x, driver
and so on works together and this is not the case if you look into the
forum.

so can i spread out your word that graphics problems are not going to be
fixed?
